Qualifications I began my work as an eating disorder therapist by being a patient in treatment first. With the help of many excellent therapists along the way, I have overcome my own eating/body image disorder. I got my B.A. at UCLA and my M.A. in clinical psychology at Pepperdine University. I am certified to use hypnosis in my practice and have been licensed and treating people with eating disorders for over twenty years. In addition to my private practice, I am on staff at UCLA’s Risk Factor Obesity clinic and am an active member of CAMFT and the National Eating Disorders Association (NEDA). I am currently a blogger for The Huffington Post© and am appearing weekly on KABC Talk Radio’s Recovery Advocates program discussing food addiction and weight loss.  Previously I was a regular contributor to Strive magazine, a health and fitness publication, where I wrote and published articles on exercise addiction, feeling fat, workout motivation and weight loss. In addition, I have appeared as an expert guest on NBC, UPN, KTLA news and Penn and Teller's Showtime original series. © 2010 Irene Rubaum-Keller Irene Rubaum-Keller, LMFT License No. MZ23528
